Training

With the growing emphasis on ecosystem- and watershed-based management strategies, resource management professionals of all types will benefit from an understanding of the principles of landscape ecology. This training is especially appropriate for local government land use planners, landscape architects, and federal or state resource agency staff.


Web-based Training Module

Langhei Ecology has developed a Landscape Ecology and Environmental Management module for the Environmental Protection Agency's Watershed Academy 2000 web-based training series. The module will be available as soon as it is posted to the EPA server, and will be accessible via a link here.


Training courses offered by Langhei Ecology

Langhei Ecology offers classroom training in the principles and applications of landscape ecology. Courses can be 1-3 days in length, and are designed primarily for environmental management professionals.
