What are the conditions
in our watershed?
Gathering data about existing conditions is the first step in identifying problems and taking action to protect the ecological integrity of your local environment. We can help you design a monitoring program to assess environmental conditions in your watershed, or address specific issues you may be concerned about.
|
What does it mean?
If you already have data on local environmental conditions, we can assist you with data analysis and interpretation. We can compile additional data for your area from federal, state, and county monitoring programs to provide a broader context. Using a wide variety of environmental indicators, we can help you understand what all the data means.

How should we manage a particular resource?
A management plan defines a course of action for a particular resource, such as a lake or stream. Such plans allow local communities to protect components of the natural environment that are important to maintaining their quality of life, and servie to guide and coordinate efforts among multiple agencies and organizations. We can help you develop a management plan for a wide variety of aquatic resources.
